Technical University (TU) Graz

TU Graz
The Graz University of Technology (TU Graz) has published more than 100 scientific articles on emission and ambient pollution modelling. One research area on which the Institute of Internal Combustion Engines and Thermodynamics has focused is the interaction between traffic and environment. The issues addressed range from determining air quality via measurements to dispersion of pollutants and the optimal application of emission-reducing methods on the vehicle as well as emission abatement by traffic management. In the CMA+ project, TU-Graz is responsible for the coordination and implementation of air quality measurements and tunnel measurements as well as for data analyses. Furthermore a weather and air quality forecasting (nowcasting) model should be developed for Klagenfurt.
